The Ethereal Realms of Mythology (working statement)

I'm embarking on a fresh endeavor centered around accordion-style books, showcasing a mix of established mythological beings alongside my own creations. My aim is to craft/invent neo-mythic creatures influenced by contemporary environmental issues. This project is in its growing phase. As I delve into this process, I merge abstract and realistic elements, navigating between two distinct modes of expression.My intention is to produce a set of 12" x 6', 8-panel books, along with one larger (the size is to be determined) 8-panel, double sided free standing installation.
